How to Play Bonobo Brain

Learn through quiz games. In Ranked you compete for regions on the country map from your profile. Train solo in Storm and climb ELO.

Basic Rules

1. Ranked is played with 3 players on the map of the country you set as your defending country in your profile.
2. Each player starts with one region as their base.
3. Players take turns — you have 10 seconds to choose a region to attack.
4. If you run out of time, the system automatically attacks a random neighboring region.

Battle for Regions

1. You can only attack regions adjacent to yours.
2. When attacking, a trivia question appears — correct answer = region conquered.
3. Question difficulty depends on your ELO rating.

Victory and Elimination

1. A player who loses all regions is eliminated.
2. The last player on the map wins.
3. You gain ELO points for winning, lose them for losing.

Question Storm

1. Solo mode — answer questions for 2 minutes.
2. 3 wrong answers = game over. Wrong answer = −15 seconds.
3. Streak bonus: +2 seconds for every 3 correct in a row.
4. Question difficulty increases with your score.

ELO System and Tiers

New players start at 1000 ELO (Silver). Matchmaking prefers players in the same tier.

Tips for Players

• Protect your base — if you lose it, it's hard to come back.
• Expand strategically to neighboring regions.
• Watch which players are weakened and attack them.
• Report bad questions — you're helping the community.
• Track your ELO and try to advance to a higher tier.
• In Storm mode, focus on the streak bonus to gain time.
